TKCOGA Day this Saturday.

dearest TKC9600,
this is the activities planned by TKCOGA for the visit to TKC this coming Saturday. I have posted an invitation and asked for your RSVP in Facebook but to no avail. only me and shambie replied. terasa mcm syok sendiri pun ada.. huhu.. anyway here goes;
This year, it is 9th May 2009, Saturday.
Registration begins at 8 am. RM30 per OG will get you a goodie bag, lunch, other OGs’ great company & fun activities which include:
- A performance by TKC’s wind orchestra
- Line Dancing – We are still looking for OG dancers/instructors
- Wonderword
- A Skincare talk & skin peeling demo by Dr Abrizah Ousman SPM96
- A Netball Match : SPM84 vs Junior team
- A Hockey Match : open to all vs Junior team
- A cooking demo (mini pizza / donuts) by Chef Safura Atan SPM85
- A fundraising Food Fair around the netball court for the benefit of TKC’s netball & hockey teams. (p/s Both our Senior & Junior hockey teams are NS Champs)
- Treasure Hunt
- Basketball match : open vs Junior team
- Career Talk by 8 SPM92 professionals
- “Nogoghi” lunch spread by Chef Julia!! [kak Julia?!!]
- Lounge/Dorm visits
The sick bay is at our disposal the whole day to freshen up / rest etc.

Dear adiks,
Assalamualaikum… Sorry to menyampuk in your conversation… just wanted to get a few things straight. There was a call to re-vamp the committee by someone, but it turned out that the someone herself did not fulfil the criteria for AJK i.e. duration of membership tak cukup.
I made a mistake of publicly announcing the revamp, with a half-baked plan.
So what did I do? I went to an OGA event, to learn if the current committee might be open to changes and would like to move forward.
As it turned out, they would LOVE to have young blood onboard. There has not been enough participation amongst the younger OGs. So immediately I saw an opportunity to participate – I planned to use facebook and the internet to reach out to younger members. And I think much of the OGA’s flaw is to do with communication – the serious lack of it via modern media – the all-mighty internet!
So, any volunteers? K Bee TKC85 is building a website and would love some ‘elves’ who can help with input / programming / content. Get in touch dik… I am on fern.rajaharris[di]sbmoffshore.com. Yes, I am Firah’s colleague.
