hai gurls,
aku malas nak wat msg br(tak reti sgt pon ye), so menempek kat sini je lah yer…
aku gi visit mida kat sjmc semalam. die ok tp a bit lemah2…bukan open brain surgery, tp masuk wire ikot hidong. she tried to explain, but as an engineer, aku tak reti plak nak explain balik kat korang. takut salah info…hehehe..
aku ckp kat die kite sume kem salam n praying hard for her. die cam sebaklah jugak…she didn’t recognize me at first, i assumed may be due to medication or the idong surgery tp sedih gak aku kejap. tp bile die kate sebab aku sgt lain n cun semacam, aku tak jd nak sedih… =)
(ok, tu tak berape penting…sorry)die bersyukur dpt detect awal, sebab bende tu compress saraf mate n kalau lambat detect maybe buta.(para dokter sekalain, kalau ade bende merepek aku tules, sila betulkan)
she still need to go through a lot of things. bukan habes cam tu je. so, she asked to us keep up praying for her.
msg die tak berape boleh lyn sebab still lemah2 and nak ckp pon tak berape larat.( condition as per 8.00 pm yesterday)
erm, dat’s all…sama2 lah kita doakan rakan kita. ini mase die, mase kita tak tau bila pulak kan…wallahualam…

After reading what firah wrote above – i presume mida is having a growth on her pituitary gland – pituitary tumour. This tumour is usually benign, but the downside of it is that, if it continues to grow, it’ll eventually compress the underlying nerve – called the optic nerve, the nerve supplying both eyes.
One way to get rid of it- is to undergo surgical approach nasally – panggil trans-sphenoidal approach, masuk wire ikut hidung, n boley scoop out the tumour keluar through hidung……sounds scary? usually operation ni relatively a safe procedure and has a high success rate….
most important thing is that….nasib baik detected early, kalau biarkan n tumour tu teros membesar -> blindness will ensue, as the optic nerve can no longer function properly.
okla merepek pulak timmy ni…….saje je nak share my 2 cents……..

korang, i went to see mida. she looks OK, siap tanye, asal tak bawak buah (to her sister, but obviously aku terasa sebab tak bawak pape)? hahah… so yes, she’s no longer on liquids and can take solid food sket2 dah kut.
she will be admitted until tomorrow kut, pas ni 3 weeks rest – most probably kat subang bistari or maybe melaka where she works.. tak surelah.
