And thankfully we have come to a unanimous decision. Our 10th Anniversary celebration will be held on:
December 6th, 2010.
I would like to thank Fozz,Nadz and Shazu personally for they have begun their part as the committee. On February 15th, Fozz and Nadz went to OGA Hall in Putrajaya to survey and see whether the place is suitable for our anniversary. OGA Hall is apparently a shop-lot. I’ve been told by an OG, Kak Ida Borhan that it’s not really suitable to have a gathering there. Fozz and Nadz confirmed that. I quote Fozz:

so far me n nadiah dah tgk OGA hall kat Putrajaya tu.. it’s at a shoplot area. klu nak pk parking, mmg senang. but just the part its a shoplot tu yg tak sure ble muat ke x sume org..
so now like nadiah said, the most important thing is to estimate brape org nak dtg dulu on that 6/12.
So girls, OGA Hall is out. Shazu has surveyed Sime Darby Convention Centre and I quote her in FB message.

since we’re budgetting dlm 80pax, so they’re giving us the function room..bukannya ballroom tu (yg zura razman kawen tu)..the food and what not, bilik etc and staff discount..dalam rm7k kot? kena check blk.aku pon dh tanya ofis aku, diorg x bg quotation lg..but for Sime Darby staff discount, instead of ++, diorg bg nett la (aku x phm pls?)..for now diorg bgtahu RM65nett per person. ni pon kena check blk.
kena confirm attendance brape org, so that they can quote us for a smaller/bigger room.

I was shocked to read the RM7k part (lol) but as shazu said, we have to check again to see if we can get better deals. And friends, mind you this is just a suggestion. If you have any place that you think really fits to be our venue, feel free to voice out your opinion. I mean, you HAVE TO if you think you have better ideas ok. Hehehehe. No need to be malu-malu or whatnot as we need to confirm this a.s.a.p so that Kiau can begin her Chetti duty.

great job, guys! Aku tak leh nak confirm attendance, but I would think RM65 per person sounds like a good bet (inclusive food)– so kalau tambah goodie bags etc? I think we should keep it as below RM100.

aku suggest better we make it at RM150 per pax. Kena ada buffer in case of anything. Kot2 ada yg bail out the last minute and kita dah obliged with a certain figure. Unless we make it a non refundable policy laa siapa tak dpt dtg last minute kira burn. Kalau ada extra, we can always channel it to account batch kan?
Aku rasa we should convene a meeting to discuss on the event. Plus, we need to have the contact number of everybody.
Firah secretary kan? Hehe… boleh tak dapatkan contact number sumerang?
Fizzy, b4 pergi korea akan turun kl kan? why not we have a meeting b4 kau fly? Hopefully kau still boleh concentrate laa kan? Heheh..

sekadar membanyakkan suggestion.. hehe.. but aku rase bleh take into consideration as well
1. restoran seri melayu, jln conlay – cater utk private function tp kene email la for details.. dinner buffet at rm70 per person but may differ kalau for private function kot (http://www.serimelayu.com)
2. saloma bistro (www.saloma.com.my).. ni aku rase maybe slightly expensive kot..
btw, kalau amek tmpt2 cmni food dh settle skali kn.. so aku tkyh incharge la kn?! ke kene gi jugak food-testing etc?

i like the price range, but if we can get around RM100 would be just nice.
which reminds me, id better get my ass moving on recording the batch song.. hm. at least minus one for nyanyian beramai-ramai.
eh on that day itself boleh tak kita ada slide show mcm our grad dinner? boleh la gelakkan diri masing2.. before after shots pun OK jeh.
ps: holler me kiau if u need my help. thinking, most probably tolong jadi co-chetti on the day itself kut.

Aku rase ramai gak hubby2 xnak gi. So, I think that’s not an issue la kot.
But mommys nak bwk ke babies2 ? Mcm kang terlebih bising lak. Haha..
Ok, aku suggest buat indoor la, sbb bulan 12 takut hujan ke n mcm lagi susah la kot.
Then aku rase system makan kite jenis buffet la better, sbb I bet org akan dok setempat je, mestilah korg akan lompat2 tablekan?!

Verrandah, CyberView Lodge.. makanan mmg nice laa.. and it’s a quite place, peaceful.. and it’s buffet.. dinner buffet..
korang boleh gi spa kat sembunyi spa.. on ur own expenses laa..
kalau setuju, aku bole tgk2 kan price.. mane tau kalau kite ade ramai org nak gi, dia bagi harga murah…
setakat ni dinner buffet dlm 80++ per pax..
