2010 – tkc9600 10th year anniversary

dearest tkc9600, class of 2000.
first of all, thanks a lot for ALL the birthday and teachers’ day wishes last week. i had a fantabulous 26th year on earth thanks to all your love, rakan-rakan. and for your info, during the teachers’ day celebration in my school, i was ‘crowned’ the GURU PALING DIGERUNI by the students. sheishhhh.. i guess 5 years with Miss Vicky had some sort of influence to me. 
as you all know, next year will be our 10th year graduating from college. 
alhamdulillah i’ve got positive feedbacks from those i’ve talked to, and it seemed like the BIG anniversary is absolutely a MUST next year. aliza, as our batch leader, has given me and shambie the ‘permission’ to be her representatives in the planning of the anniversary. lol. it’s nothing big really, but since we can get through to you guys easier [via this web and facebook], so she thinks it’s just appropriate to do that. the only problem is that we are working nun jauh di timur semenanjung, so it’s really impossible for us to meet up with all of you face to face and to discuss the itinerary. this is why EACH AND EVERY tkc9600, CLASS OF 2000 plays a MAJOR role in making sure the planning of the anniversary goes on. whenever you have a get together among tkc9600, after all GOSSIPS have been shared,please chip in some discussion regarding the anniversary..hehehe. then, let me or shambie know of any development so that we can put it up in our dotcom.
and just to share something i recently stumbled upon, our friends mckk9600 has begun their 10th year anniversary planning. i know we can’t be as organized as they are, plus with some of us being Mommies to our anak-anak saudara, the activities to be planned seems a bit limited. but i regard mckk9600′s planning as a motivation and challenge for us to do even better. i have a few ideas in mind, but in the meantime let’s just brainstorm on what we want to have in the itinerary. but the most important thing is to decide when is the best DATE to have the anniversary. aliza had made a STRONG reminder to yours truly that the anniversary should be after September, but it’s not mandatory [cheiss, i'm using law-related word! mentang-mentang tengah cakap pasal aliza!] we’ll try to have it on a day which everyone can make it.
so, let the ideas/opinions/suggestions coming. and for the time being we’ll discuss it online. when everything’s final, we’ll start drafting the paperwork.

yup..yup.. i clearly stated that. the date is not mandatory. but 10.10.10 is nice, doesn’t it? i kinda like that date.
ermm, as for the venue, i’d like to suggest we do it in college. i kinda have a rough idea on the itinerary i.e. college meeting, film show, meals in dining hall etc. but the MOST important reason is because college WILL move to Nilai in 2011. so next year will be the FINAL/LAST year tkc in bukit merbah~
so, i suggest we do it in college.

overnight di kolej memang menarik, tp procedures la. the best way is, come up with a paperwork, then present it to the principal.
i’m not against your idea fizzy. tp masa tu belum cuti sekolah. logistic wise, nak tido di mana. yg buat dulu tu time cuti sekolah. kitorang dapat satu dorm.
but i guess we can thrash out je dulu ideas.

@atie.. my point exactly. that’s why aku kata kita brainstorm ideas dulu. aku memang nak draw out paperwork. and get the permission. me and shambie even planned to ask for OGA’s permission to use their logo/ letterhead for surat menyurat purposes. hehehe. it’ll be hard though, but we’ll just try our luck. aku gaji this month nak apply OGA. hhehehe.. [demi!!]
ermm, oct memang tak cuti sekolah lagi rakan-rakan. and yg overnight tu aku rasa bukan wajib kot. sbb aku tau susah org [yg dah kawen especially] nk stay. events will mostly be held on sunday [101010]-insyaAllah.so maybe yg overnight tu committees ke.. utk persiapan events and tempat. as for tempat tidur, sickbay or surau maybe boleh. fyi bagi sesiapa yg blom tahu, bilik chegu kt surau tu dah air-conditioned, plish. hahhaha.

Wow, semua orang, start korek tshirt for tshirt batch anda! Aahaha, ada lagi tak? Ke dah buat kain buruk mop lantai dah (keji gell ahaha)?
Erm, I LOVE the idea of overnight dekat college. Boleh buat BBQ ala band party and tak kena tangkap! And boleh main basketball tengah2 malam pakai tshirt dengan shorts je. DAMN! Maybe this time around, kita boleh mintak pakcik bus permission, nak drive coaster gi Seremban town.

wow! sounds exciting! brilliant idea ! salut! thanks to those who remind us all about this 10.10.10. we better book that date and let everyone knows ASAP cos some people would think that this is the best day to get married la and bla bla. so ppl, lockdown the date for this get together event after 10 years we stepped out of college!
for accomodation, as school is in session at that time, so i would suggest we book a hotel or something. more convenient to those who thought of bringing their babies or family ke to our stillthesame seremban town. camping probably not a good idea now considering ntah2 ada yg dlm pantang lg ke (yeah, asni kembar lima kah? sampai nk pantang lamer2 ni.hehe.) and for other reasons as well.
so fizz and shambie, as aliza, the leader has spoken, so you guys have to be the organiser la for this and best of luck. please let me know if you need my help and im more than willing to help you guys in making sure this gathering is a success!
and firah(as my great Prop Leader), i would vote her as vice-president to fizz and shambie. hehe. go firah. dh 10thn xjumpe kan?

yes yes! sokong idea baini..if we can stay kat kolej than okla ( which im not sure how that’ll work) ..but unfortunately, mommies yg membawa anak2 pulak cam payah la sikit ek? if mau,aku leh je nk seret (??) Harisa ku and bawak tido kat kolej, but I guess booking some rooms kat hotel should be kept as an option as well
btw, IF the date mmg dah nak diconfirmkan as 10.10.10, im gonna have to make some arrangements sbb daku sungguh la jauh, nak kena kumpul duit nk balik bulan 10 tu nanti
so, the earlier dapat confirm, sgtla membantu org2 yg (malangnye) tak dok kat msia utk make plans to go home 
I would looooovvveeee to be incharge of dessert @ food pleeeaasssee?

may i know, when does the end of year school hols start? does it includes early december? not that i’m against the 10.10.10 date, and yes 6 dec will be on a monday, but if its during the school hols maybe doing it in college would be much easier in terms of getting the permission?
and if mmg btol la during school hols, apa lagi nadia??? nk bbq…basketball…bwk coaster…poco2??? 24 hours pun boley!!!
also, erm, considering we hv frens out there scattered throughout the world, i guess during early dec tue mcm off-peak season for air tickets, so that would really save alot of $$$…

i humbly suggest that whatever date kita pilih pun, let it be either on saturday or sunday. 6th dec mmg significant tp it’s on a monday. kurang praktikal dari segi kene ambil leave.

10.10.10…….. will have to work hard to get a slim figure before this date, bunyik macam jauh je lagi tahun depan, sempat kot, semangat nih nak jumpe korang korang, nak kene kuruskan badan dulu……want to look good too, like most of u glitz and glamour girlssss…….aishhhh, bocah la rindula korang……please make this event a reality!
